Publish and download the PDF

Publish is one button. It closes the draft, renders the PDF on its own, and starts the certificate of service and the service sticker in the background. You do not wait on any of it.

Steps

1. In the builder choose Publish & generate PDF. You land on the report page with a Preparing PDF chip while it renders.
2. When it is ready, the eye icon opens View PDF inside the app, and the Share menu holds Download PDF.
3. The report gets a job number when the PDF renders. You will see it in the PDF filename.

Editing after publish

Owners and admins can open a published report in the builder. Saving marks it revised and clears the old PDF; make a new one from Regenerate PDF in the report's menu. Making the PDF again for the same report does not use another trial report.

Good to know

• A draft can make a preview PDF from the report page (Generate preview PDF) without publishing. That still counts as the report's one metered use, so on the trial, publish instead.
• The certificate and sticker follow the PDF by a few seconds and sit in the same Share menu.
