Build the report
The builder is a page stack: cover, service summary, before and after, recommendations. Two sentences and your paired photos make a complete report.
Free trial: 3 reports or 3 days. No card required.
The builder is a page stack, top to bottom, in the order the PDF prints. Click a block to edit it in the right panel. It autosaves as you go, so leaving and coming back costs nothing.
The blocks, in order
- Cover Page. Title, service date and your company. Filled from the project and the workspace; you rarely touch it.
- Service Summary. Two or three sentences on what was cleaned and what the customer should know. This is the part the GM reads.
- Before & After. Your photo pairs, side by side. Add a second section for a second hood or the rooftop fan.
- Compliance Report. Anything you could not fix or reach: a seized fan hinge, a duct run with no access panel. Add the block when you need it and leave it out on a clean job.
- Recommendations. What to fix before the next visit, and anything the customer should schedule.

Good to know
- Save and exit takes you back to the report page with the draft intact. Publish & generate PDF is the one that ends the draft.
- A photo section can print one, two, three or four photos to a row. Fewer per row prints larger.
- Started with the wrong layout? Blocks can be removed and added back. The cover is the one block every report keeps.
- The app's own Compliance Report block is where deficiencies go. It has nothing to do with certifying the kitchen; it lists what you found and what you recommend.

HoodCleaningReport is a documentation tool. It does not certify work, determine compliance, or guarantee approval by an AHJ, insurer, or customer. Questions the guides do not answer go to the contact page.
