Partner playbook

Know what to post, where, and what it pays.

The toolkit gives you the files. This page gives you the method. Commission math, three audience angles, how the tracked link behaves, and the lines you cannot cross.

Start here

Four steps, then you are live.

  1. 01
    Apply

Enroll through the partner portal. Approval is manual, so tell us who your audience is and how you plan to recommend the product.

  2. 02
    Copy your link

The portal issues one tracked link. It carries a 30 day attribution window and can point at any page on the site.

  3. 03
    Pick a playbook

Choose the angle below that matches the audience you actually have. Each one names the asset and the landing page to use.

  4. 04
    Publish with the disclosure

Put the disclosure next to the link itself, not in a profile, a hashtag block, or a separate terms page.

The math

Commission is 20%, and it recurs.

A referral is not a one time payment. While the referred workspace stays subscribed and eligible, the commission keeps clearing every month.

How the referred customer is billed
Per month $53.40
Over 12 months $640.80

Estimate only. Annual plans are discounted 20%, so commission on an annual subscription is lower per month than the monthly plan rate. Actual commission depends on approval, continued eligibility, and the referred subscription staying active and paid. Refunds, chargebacks, and disqualified transactions do not earn commission.

Three angles

Use the one that matches your audience.

01

Educators and consultants

You train kitchen exhaust crews or advise owners on how the operation runs.

Angle
Lead with the documentation gap. Crews finish the clean and then lose hours rebuilding the paperwork. Show what a structured record looks like before you mention the product.
Where it lands
Course modules, training decks, consulting newsletters, association talks.
Asset to use
Product walkthrough video, 16:9 cut
Point your link at Product overview
02

Workflow specialists

You set up CompanyCam or field service software for trade businesses.

Angle
Lead with the handoff. Photos are already being captured. Show what happens to them afterward, and let the finished report make the case.
Where it lands
Integration write-ups, client onboarding docs, LinkedIn posts, implementation guides.
Asset to use
Landscape social card and the product one-sheet
Point your link at Sample report
03

Trade creators and contractors

You have a contractor audience, or you run the work yourself and people ask what you use.

Angle
Lead with your own experience. Say what the reporting step cost you before and what it looks like now. Do not script it. Firsthand beats polished.
Where it lands
Shorts, Reels, TikTok, trade Facebook groups, replies to the recurring paperwork question.
Asset to use
Portrait social card and the 9:16 walkthrough cut

Before you publish

The lines you cannot cross.

These are the promotion rules from the affiliate terms, in plain language. Breaking them can reverse commission or end participation.

Never claim compliance

Do not state or imply that HoodCleaningReport guarantees NFPA 96 or ANSI/IKECA C10 compliance, AHJ acceptance, or an inspection outcome. The product supports documentation. It does not certify anything.

No branded search bidding

Do not bid on HoodCleaningReport branded terms in paid search.

No unapproved coupons

Do not publish discount codes or offers that were not issued to you.

No incentives for clicks

Do not offer cash, rewards, or entries in exchange for clicks or signups.

No lookalike identities

Do not register confusingly similar domains or present yourself as the company.

No unverifiable numbers

Do not quote savings, time saved, or earnings that you cannot substantiate from your own experience.

Every recommendation needs the disclosure with it: “I may earn a commission if you sign up for HoodCleaningReport through my link. This does not change your price.”
